• anyways all most of the times, he’s late for his classes
• donghyuck will try to get him to skip class but jeno refuses
• bc poor jeno still wants to pass ace his classes :^(
• so he walks into class like 2 hours late like it’s nothing
• casually walking pass the teacher as he’s explaining about some sort of graph on the board
• but the teacher doesn’t even say anything anymore bc rly… there’s no point
• he gets sent to the detention room during lessons too bc he keeps falling asleep and his snoring is rly distracting
• but to be fair the school’s detention room is practically jeno’s second home
• but you’d be surprised to see that jeno actually uses his time in the detention room wisely??? like he’s doing his homework and stuff
• bc rly he’s a nice, kind-hearted kid
• even the detention teacher agrees and questions why someone like jeno is getting into trouble
• but rly he just hangs out with people who were influenced by other notorious seniors coughs
• which made him earn his “bad boy” title
• anyways! there was you
• you usually minded your own business and you chose to stay away from those “bad boys”
• but one day you rly had to trip and fall on the pavement while running to school bc you overslept
• so you ended up in the detention room, with your palms and knees still bleeding
• you were so >:^( bc the teacher didn’t even let you clean up or anything smh
• he just rushed you to the detention room???
• so you sighed and made your way to the seat nearest to the door, limping
• then suddenly the door opened, revealing the jeno lee
• usually he has a blank face but when he saw you, his eyes widened
• finally… someone who isn’t part of his clique is there to join him in his the detention room???
• he made his way to his usual seat and just watched you take out a bunch of tissues and your water bottle
• he rly tried to ignore you but he couldn’t
• maybe bc you didn’t know how to clean your wounds properly and it was frustrating him!!!!!!!
• so he made his way to you after having a long debate with himself to help you :^)
• he took out some bandages/plasters from his bag too to help you :^)
• you were hesistant to even let him come close to you at first but he was offering help to clean and patch up your wounds which you had no idea how to do wow
• anyways you let him in the end so :^)
• “where did you even get those bandages?” your voice startled him
• “i keep them in my bag since my friends get into fights often and….yeah”
• he’s very dense
• anyways you thank him after he’s done
• “i’m jeno, lee jeno btw” as if you didn’t already know
• you introduced yourself too and he went back to his seat, continuing his work
• even after you were dismissed, you kept thinking about him
• like wow,,, did bad boy! lee jeno just help you like that??? it’s hard to believe
• since then you kept seeing him everywhere you went
• you felt like it was a sign or something bc usually you were good at avoiding him and any of his friends
• jeno thought the same too like??? he rarely saw you in school and now he sees every where???
• and you started getting all giddy + you always felt butterflies in your stomach when you saw him oh no
• when you two make eye contact and he takes a moment to smile at you even when his friends are saying something to him
• and he started feeling the same way too gasps!!!
• it’s like you had some sort of magnet that never fails to attract his attention e v e r y t i m e and he can’t escape
• then one day you bumped into him after school
• bc you were too busy texting your mum on your phone priorities!
• and bc he didn’t see where he was walking!!! smh
• also the song he was playing was so loud you could hear it despite him wearing headphones
• when he saw that he bumped into you, his eyes widens and he immediately takes off his headphones
• “nice to see you again” he says and smiles and his eyesmile made you so !!!!!! wow
• he then asks you if your wounds were getting better and you sheepishly say yes
• you want to continue talking to him but you rly had to leave :^( so you muttered a goodbye and continued walking
• but surprisingly, jeno turned around and began walking beside you
• you were confused bc he was walking the other way round just now???
• “do you walk home?” he asks and you just nod slowly bc you’re still so confused???
• “i guess i’ll walk you home, i wouldn’t want you hurting yourself again” he then chuckles and your face turns so so so red
• during the walk back to your house it suddenly became super cold haha oh no!!!
• and you wld’ve guessed it
• jeno passed you his hoodie to wear and surprisingly it didn’t smell like smoke
• it smelled of jeno’s cologne + the faint smell of soap
• once you’ve reached the building of your house you thanked him and told him to wait as you wanted to pass him his hoodie
• but he told you to keep it and return it another day!!! eeeek
• you thanked him once again for the hoodie and also for making sure your clumsy ass didn’t fall again
• and he was just about to leave
• then he stops in his tracks and turns to face you
• “you know, i actually wouldn’t mind if you fell for me though”
• he then smirks and leaves you speechless but inside he’s actually combusting into flames
• “why tf did you say that jeno wtfwtwfwtf” he thinks to himself, face red, as he walks back home
